Pets in the Neighborhood

In partnership with Operation SPOT (Stop Pet Overpopulation Today), STL ACC is thrilled to offer our Pets in the Neighborhood (PITN) program to City of St. Louis communities.

The goal of PITN is to bring pet services, resources, and information into neighborhoods to increase the quality of life for local pets and their families. Specifically, Operation SPOT is able to provide low-cost spay and neuter procedures with their mobile spay/neuter truck, known as the Waggin’. In doing so, the PITN program hopes to remove some of the barriers citizens encounter when seeking pet-related services, such as financial or transportation barriers.

Animal welfare organizations are also present to provide information about stray animals, adoption, responsible pet ownership, and other companion animal related topics. Other organizations and businesses are invited to participate.

STL ACC and Operation SPOT hope to bring this program to other communities. If you are interested in hosting a PITN event in your neighborhood, please contact STL ACC at 314.657.1486.
